Temple anniversary

Join us for celebrating the eight anniversary of Somaskanda Ashram. There will be havans and kumbapujas. We look forward to seeing you!

Programme: 12 pm (noon) – 6 pm

The celebrations will start at noon with a havan and a kumbabishekum for Lord Ganesh and will then continue inside the temple with a big kumbapuja to Lord Somaskanda Murti. Delicious blessed food (prasad) will be available for everyone.

We need your help

Please come a few days early and experience the end of Navaratri and support us with the preparations, the running of the event, or stay longer and help with the tidying up. Get in touch with us!

Getting there

From the village of Fideris a mountain road leads up to the ashram for about 10 km. The driving on the road is subject to a special permit. Please get it using the Parkingpay app  or buy it in Fideris at the sales post of the Heuberge AG).

Mobile permit information

Park your car in the public parking area. From there, walk 2 km to the temple.

The last 300 m from the junction (Höhi) to the temple must be walked on foot (approx. 15 min). Elderly people and those with health conditions will be driven up by the team of helpers. For more details you can watch our video.
