Traditionally, in Skanda Vale, during the first weekend of Shiva festival the Kali procession takes place where Mother Kali goes on a journey from the Shakti temple to visit the other temples of the ashram. For the first time we were able to mirror this special festival here in Somaskanda Ashram. Mother Kali left the temple to visit Lord Ganesh and Nandi, to be carried all around the ashram to finally re-unite with Lord Shiva. Here are some impressions of this memorable day.
